This month has its way of being an epic one these past few years. To start on a happy note it is the month we celebrate love, and it is a day where we get to show our gushy lovey dovey feelings for our better half. I mean who can argue with that? But then there are the epic fails that make this month well, a tragic one..... Here are a list of events that happened so far in my life which makes me label Feburary as " the epic one" 1. Valentines day 2009: Grandpa Mo'o passed away 2. February 25, 2011: Kaleiikaika passed away 3. February 10, 2012: Whitney Houston passed away 4. February 25, 2012: Kaleiikaika's first birthday Crazy huh? As for this year I was shocked to hear the news of Whitney Houston and her passing. My mom and I are frequent listeners to her oh so heavenly voice. When I found out the news the first thing I did was Txt my mom to share the news with her. The next minute I get a call from her and she is crying on the phone telling me ". Aysh, I can't believe she is dead! My voice is dead." That night her songs were on repeat. And after every single one all I could say was " I can't believe she is gone." My all time favorite song would have to be I wanna dance with somebody. Her voice will forever be heard and always remembered. RIP Whitney Houston! So hats off to you February! The good and the bad the happy the sad. You are and forever will be " the epic one"
