I just let an entire month pass by without even blogging. From Halloween and straight into Thanksgiving! So I guess it will be holiday posts from here on out. It is now officially Christmas and I am so excited that it is finally here. There is so much to look forward to in this month as well as reflect back on what has happened this past year.
First off, a quick re-cap of my Thanksgiving holiday. My baby turned six months and had her six month checkup which also meant shots. So fever and fussy unhappy baby started off our four day weekend. Bryson wanted to do a Thanksgiving imu so the next two days were spent prepping for that. My brother, Ezra and my Father in law helped him out with the imu. They put a total of three turkeys, one ham, and one uhu. I spent Thanksgiving eve at my Moms house as well as Thanksgiving day. Husband had lots of fun doing his imu and the turkey came out super ono! I must say imu turkey is way better than regular oven turkey! Black Friday and Saturday consisted of sleeping in until 9 and shopping, shopping, shopping, and more shopping. Sunday concludes our Thanksgiving weekend and is now our day to recover and start a whole new week.
Now getting back to what I look forward to this upcoming month. First, my birthday is on the twelfth and I will be turning nineteen. Second, is our first wedding Anniversary which is on the seventeenth. We leave for Florida on the twenty first. And it will be my hula girls first Christmas! I am so excited, this month is so busy with such joyous events.
Looking back on this year I myself as well as my husband and I together have come so far. Being married and legal for a whole year has made the both of us feel so much more secure and happy. Having our daughter here in our life for the past six months has been amazing. Having a family of my own is something that makes me so happy and lucky to have. My daughter has taught me so much about myself and made me appreciate so many different things. I have learned to be more patient and loving and most of all happy. She has taught me to work hard and to be more assertive. Funny how children, such innocent beings, can teach us so much without them knowing it them self. I am thankful for my husband and all he does to support our family. He is so hard working and determined. I admire that most about him. Life without either of these two in my life would be pointless. I am so grateful to be the mother of my daughter and wife to my husband. I love them with all my heart and can't wait to grow and learn more with them.
